We are excited to announce an important update to our Profit and Loss (PnL) calculations for Copy Trading, based on valuable feedback from our Master Traders and Followers. This change will provide a fairer representation of Master Trader capabilities and help followers better understand their portfolio performance.

With effect from 2AM UTC on Mar 30, 2023, the new PnL calculation will be implemented on Bybit Web and Bybit App Version 4.14.0. The updated formula will use the Average Entry price instead of the Order Entry Price:

Realized PnL = [(Close Price - Order Entry Price) * Contract Qty] - (Commission + Funding fee)

Unrealized PnL = (Last Price - Order Entry Price) * Contract Qty

Realized PnL = [(Close Price - Average Entry Price) * Contract Qty] - (Commission + Funding fee)

Unrealized PnL = (Last Price - Average Entry Price) * Contract Qty
