). All MATIC tokens held on Bybit will be swapped to POL tokens at a 1:1 ratio, and will be distributed to users via airdrop by Sep 12, 2024, 8AM UTC. During this process, trading, deposits, and withdrawals of MATIC and related assets will be affected. Please take note of the following timeline. 

Currently, new orders for Borrowing (UTA) and Crypto Loans for MATIC are no longer accepted. 

• New orders for Bybit Savings plans for MATIC will not be accepted.

• New orders for MATIC-USDT Dual Asset investments will not be accepted.

• New orders to increase MATIC-USDT Liquidity Mining positions will not be accepted. 

• Open positions for MATICUSDT on Bybit MT5 will be set to Close-Only mode.

• MATICUSDT and MATIC-PERP Perpetual Contracts will be no longer be available on Bybit. 

• All active orders, including conditional orders, will be canceled. Any open positions of these contracts will be automatically closed. The closing price will be based on the average Index Price calculated over the 10 minutes leading up to delisting. 

• MATICUSDT and MATIC-PERP will no longer be supported on Trading Bots. 

• All unfilled orders for MATICUSDT and MATIC-PERP in Copy Trading will be automatically canceled.

• MATIC token and all its trading pairs will no longer be available on Bybit Convert.

• Open positions for MATIC-USDT on Liquidity Mining will be closed automatically. We recommend managing your positions before Sep 6, 2024, 8AM UTC to avoid any potential losses.

• The MATICUSDT trading pair will no longer be available on Bybit MT5. 

• MATIC will no longer be accepted as collateral on Borrowing (UTA), Crypto Loans, or Institutional Loans, and cannot be used for repayment.

• Any outstanding MATIC liabilities must be repaid before Sep 9, 2024, 8AM UTC. Failure to do so will trigger automatic repayment of MATIC liabilities and may lead to potential asset losses.

• We strongly encourage users to adjust their margin before Sep 9, 2024, 8AM UTC, if applicable, and closely monitor the maintenance margin rate (MMR) and loan-to-value (LTV) ratio to avoid any potential liquidation.

• MATIC/USDT Spot Grid Bots and DCA bots can no longer be created. All running Spot trading bots for MATIC will be terminated automatically. We recommend managing your bots accordingly before the termination to avoid any potential losses.

• MATIC will be removed from Bybit Savings. Users' principal and accrued yield from staking MATIC in Bybit Savings plans will be automatically credited to their Funding Accounts.

• Spot trading of MATIC/BTC, MATIC/USDC, and MATIC/USDT will not be available. All active orders for these trading pairs will be canceled.

• Transfers, internal transfers, deposits, and withdrawals for MATIC will be suspended. Please ensure that there is enough buffer time for your MATIC deposits to be fully processed before the suspension, as deposits processed after this time will not be credited to your account. 

• Token migration of MATIC to POL is expected to be completed. 

• The MATIC token will no longer be supported on Bybit.

From Sep 4, 2024, 12PM (noon) UTC to Sep 10, 2024, 9AM UTC, deposits and withdrawals of POL on the Polygon PoS network will use the ticker MATIC. After the token migration, POL will replace MATIC as the ticker for the native token of the Polygon PoS network. 

During the upgrade, you may experience temporary restrictions on viewing the MATIC assets in your accounts. Rest assured that all MATIC assets are secure and unaffected. The token swap from MATIC to POL may take some time to complete. Once the upgrade is finished, you will be able to transfer these assets again. POL and its Spot trading pairs, POL/BTC, POL/USDC, and POL/USDT, are expected to be listed on Sep 13, 2024, 8AM. More details will be released in a separate announcement.

Please note that queries via relevant pages and OpenAPI may also experience temporary unavailability. We advise you to pay attention to any relevant notifications during this period to minimize potential impacts on your MATIC trades.
